Event Conditions Of Entry

By purchasing a ticket or entering the event site, patrons acknowledge andagree to the following Terms and Conditions

1. Event Format

1.1 This is an all weather event designed as a country music street fair experience, with artists performing across multiple stages located throughout the site at varying times rather than a single stage format.

 

1.2 Walking between areas of the site will be required. Please wear comfortable footwear as some stages and event areas are located on bitumen or concrete surfaces.

2. Children and Family Attendance

2.1 While this event is family friendly, it is primarily designed as a live music event and will not specifically cater to children.

 

2.2 Children under 5 years of age and prams or strollers are not permitted within the event.

 

2.3 Children attending must be accompanied by a responsible adult at alltimes.

 

2.4 Some licensed areas within the event will be strictly 18+.

3. Seating and Comfort

3.1 Patrons are welcome to bring a chair for the Main Stage area.

 

3.2 However, artists and stages will be spread across the site.

 

3.3 Patrons bringing chairs do so at their own risk. The event organisers accept no responsibility for lost, stolen or unattended chairs

4. Weather and Event

4.1 In wet weather please bring a raincoat.

 

4.2 Hats and sunscreen are encouraged.

 

4.3 Umbrellas are not permitted

5. Prohibited Items and Security

5.1 No outside food, alcohol, glass containers, illegal substances, weapons or drones are permitted to be brought into the event.

 

5.2 Bags will be checked at the gates.

 

5.3 Security guards and event marshals will be positioned at entry points and throughout the site checking bags and monitoring the event.

 

5.4 Any disorderly or unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated

6. Alcohol and Payment

6.1 Bars will be EFTPOS only.

6.2 Food trucks will accept both cash and EFTPOS.

6.3 Alcohol will be served in cans or plastic cups throughout the event.

6.4 Glass will not be used except within designated VIP areas.

7. Parking and Transport

7.1 Limited free parking will be available at both the front and rear of The Groundz.

 

7.2 The Groundz is within walking distance of the Dapto train station and bus services.

8. First Aid

8.1 First aid services will be available onsite.

9. Entry and Re-Entry

9.1 Patrons leaving the event site will not be permitted re-entry.

 

9.2 Entry is subject to conditions of entry.

 

9.3 Management reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any patron for intoxication, disorderly behaviour or failure to comply with event conditions.

10. Photography and Filming

10.1 By entering the event site you consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional purposes.

11. Event Programming

11.1 Event programming, artist line-up and performance times may be subject to change where required.

 

11.2 Other entertainment is also subject to change.

 

11.3 A site map showing stage locations, attractions and facilities will be available on the day of the event.

 

11.4 Final site layout is determined in the lead up to the event based on weather conditions, artist requirements and operational needs. As a result, stage locations and event areas may be subject to change and cannot be confirmed or published in advance.

12. Refund and Event Policy

12.1 This eventis an open air event with various indoor and outdoor areas across The Groundz precinct.

 

12.2 Stages may be indoors and/or outdoors.

 

12.3 This is an all weather event.

 

12.4 This event is subject to presale benchmark requirements.

 

12.5 In the unlikely event that presale targets are not met, extreme weather occurs, or another circumstance outside of our control arises, the event maybe rescheduled or cancelled.

 

12.6 If the event is rescheduled to an alternate date, tickets will automatically be transferred to the new date.

 

12.7 If the event is cancelled entirely, a full refund minus booking fees willbe issued within 28 days.

 

12.8 By purchasing tickets, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

 

12.9 We do not accept liability for any additional costs, losses or compensation associated with date changes or event cancellation.

13. Risk and Liability

13.1 Patrons attend the event at their own risk.

 

13.2 The event organisers accept no responsibility for loss, damage or injury except where required by law.

14. Ticket Resale

14.1 Tickets may not be resold or transferred for commercial gain

15. Conditions of Entry

15.1 Entry to the event constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

 

15.2 Patrons must comply with all directions from event staff, security personnel and event marshals at all times.

 

15.3 Failure to comply with directions from event staff or security may result in removal from the event without refund.

16. Personal Property

6.1 Patrons are responsible for their own personal belongings at all times.

 

16.2 The event organisers accept no responsibility for loss, theft or damageto personal property brought into the event.

17. Safety and Operational Requirements

17.1 The event organisers reserve the right to make changes to event operations, site access, stage locations or programming where required for safety, licensing or operational reasons.

 

17.2 Patrons must comply with all safety requirements implemented by the event organisers or relevant authorities.

18. Responsible Service of Alcohol

18.1 Alcohol will be served in accordance with applicable licensing and responsible service of alcohol laws.

 

18.2 Event staff and security reserve the right to refuse the service of alcohol to any patron.

 

18.3 Any patron who is intoxicated, behaving in a disorderly manner, orfailing to comply with responsible service of alcohol requirements may berefused service or removed from the event without refund.

19. Crowd Behaviour and Patron Safety

19.1 Patrons must behave in a safe and responsible manner at all times while attending the event.

 

19.2 Dangerous behaviour including pushing, aggressive conduct, fighting, throwing objects or actions that may cause injury to other patrons will not be tolerated.

 

19.3 Patrons participating in unsafe behaviour may be removed from the event by security or event staff without refund.

19.4 Patrons enter crowd areas and stage viewing areas at their own risk and must take reasonable care for their own safety and the safety of others

20. Site Conditions and Ground Surfaces

20.1 The event is held across various indoor and outdoor areas of The Groundz precinct.

 

20.2 Surfaces throughout the event site may include grass, gravel, bitumen, concrete or other temporary or permanent event infrastructure.

 

20.3 Patrons acknowledge that uneven ground surfaces, temporary structures, staging, lighting equipment and other event infrastructure maybe present throughout the site.

 

20.4 Patrons are responsible for taking reasonable care when moving around the event site and must follow all safety signage and directions provided by event staff.

 

20.5 The event organisers accept no responsibility for injury, loss or damage resulting from failure to take reasonable care when moving throughout the event site except where required by law.
